FKF President Nick Mwendwa has called out on the Ministry of Sports to increase efficiency in funding national teams, among them the Harambee Stars and Starlets.
In a sports talk show, Mwendwa revealed that the Federation had numerously requested for funding from the Ministry which has in turn turned a deaf ear.
"National teams have guaranteed funding from the Sports Fund. We have fulfilled all that is required of us from the Ministry to get funding but the Sports Cabinet Secretary (Amb. Kirimi Kaberia) has conspicously gone silent," said Nick Mwendwa.

The Starlets reported to camp at the Stadion Hotel in Kasarani last Friday following the government's intervention.
Football Kenya Federation, meanwhile, has submitted its budget for the back to back qualifier set to be played on November 8, and November 11, 2019 in Nairobi and Lusaka, respectively.
The Harambee Stars' budget for the upcoming AFCON Qualifiers against Togo and Egypt have also been received by the ministry
